Rebecca trained at Laban Contemporary Dance School graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Dance Theatre. Whilst there, she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Odette Hughes (Random) and Rosalind Crisp, as well as perform at the Eurostar Farwell event at Waterloo Station. She also obtained a scholarship to attend the Martha Graham School of Contemporary dance for a two week intensive in the summer of 2007. Since graduating in June 2008, she has performed with Cloud Dance Company, as part of the Company’s quarterly festival for emerging artists, and also helped with the marketing and P.R for the festival. She is currently helping Retina Dance Company in Nottingham with marketing and administration, with specific focus on the Youth Dance Company. She has also begun to look into the accessibility of contemporary dance within her home town of Peterborough with the view to making the genre an established art-form in the area. Rebecca is extremely excited about joining Tempered Body Dance Company for the new season.
