Cat Ben Abbes is an experienced dance artist who has been performing and teaching for the last 5 years. Her performance experience includes Abalino Dance Theatre, Naomi Lefebvre-Sell, Laura Doehler and Co, Ruth Mills and Articulate Animal. She has taught for, amongst others, Dance Base, Dance House, Macrobert, Reid Kerr College, Coatbridge College and The Space. She has also worked for Scottish Ballet delivering education and audio-description. Since 2005 Cat has played key roles for Martial Dance as a performer, teacher and administrator, most recently devising developing and delivering the education program for Martial Dance's curtain raiser tour for the duet The Other which she co-choreographed and performed in venues throughout Scotland and England. Cat is currently the dance associate at South Hill Park Arts centre where she is developing her own choreography.
