Mel is a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher, with a diverse training in dance and theatre performance from both Laban Centre London and Bird College. She has danced in many music videos and performance festivals and has been a member of Tempered Body Dance Company since 2010. Choreography credits include ‘The Burial at Thebes’ at the Shakespeare’s Globe (dir. Derek Walcott, text by Seamus Heaney), ‘Trunk’ at BAC (Future Cinema), and ‘Funny Face’ for London Fashion Week (On/Off / Secret Cinema). Alongside enjoying regular teaching London-wide, Mel has also recently launched her own company DecoDance, who had their debut in 2010 at the Robin Howard Dance Theatre (The Place).
